Our Founder
Acquainted World was founded in 2023 by microbiologist and communication psychologist, Kennen Hutchison with the mission to connect and empower people through trusted information.
Having dedicated his life to the study of infectious diseases, he grew frustrated by the avalanche of misleading and inaccurate information that erupted during the 2020 pandemic. Frustrated by the prevalence of mistrust and distorted facts, Kennen sought to create a space where people could access honest and accurate information from real and caring experts. No politics. No agenda. No spin. Just real scientists breaking down real science for the people they care about. You. The result was Acquainted World – an independent, centralized science communication hub dedicated to providing trustworthy and accurate science information to the public– built by scientists for the people.
